Fried chicken gizzards

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the chicken gizzards under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Trim off any excess fat or membranes.
  2. Place the cleaned gizzards in a bowl and pour buttermilk over them. Make sure the gizzards are fully coated in the buttermilk. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator. This helps tenderize the gizzards and adds flavor.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
