Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak
- 3 tablespoons light olive oil divided
- 4 to 5 cups broccoli florets 1 head of broccoli or 12 ounce bag of florets.
- ⅓ cup water
Stir Fry Sauce
- 1 cup beef stock 236 mL
- 5 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos 118 grams
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha or red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic about 3 cloves
- ½ – 1 tablespoon fresh ginger paste or minced
Garnish and Serving
- 3 teaspoons sesame seeds optional
- 3 green onions sliced, optional
- red pepper flakes
- cooked rice for serving optional
