This is why you should always put vinegar in your washing machine

Vinegar for washing machines

1. Revives white, protects black
To protect the white shine of clothes, we generally use bleach or an industrial chemical composition. Forget everything.

Add half a cup of vinegar to the drum and you will see the laundry regain its former whiteness.

But its power doesn’t stop there. The black on your clothes gradually dissolves thanks to the products you use to wash them. But vinegar will protect your black clothes from the chemical attack of most common detergents.

2. Eliminates odors
We have done this at least once, after washing our clothes we do not dry them immediately and wear them to go out. In this case, they quickly take on a very unpleasant odor which will be difficult to eliminate.

By using vinegar, you are guaranteed to eradicate any odor from your clothes. You can use this tip for your running clothes that smell like sweat or for clothes that smell like cigarettes.

So don’t hesitate to add a quarter cup of vinegar to the wash cycle.

3. Softens laundry and protects the environment
Admittedly, the feeling of soft, freshly washed clothes is very satisfying. Unfortunately, conventional and industrial fabric softeners are harmful.

They contain allergens that are irritating to the skin, particularly that of children and more sensitive people. Furthermore, be aware that these products are very harmful to the environment.

If you want to maintain the same effect of these products without harming your skin or that of your children, use vinegar.

Which is completely harmless to the environment. A quarter of a cup at the end of the cycle should be enough to soften your laundry.
