Sweet and Simple Polish Apple Pancakes

Ingredients:
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, grated or thinly sliced
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 tbsp clarified butter
  • Powdered sugar for serving
Instructions:
  1. Prepare Batter: Sift flour into a large bowl. Add sugars and baking soda, mix well. Combine milk and egg, then whisk into dry ingredients until smooth.
  2. Add Apples: Fold apples into the batter until evenly coated.
  3. Cook Pancakes: Heat clarified butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Spoon batter, placing apple slices on top if desired. Cook each side for about 1.5 minutes until golden.
  4. Serve: Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or your favorite jam.
