Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl using a whisk. Remove from the heat.
Cream together the sugar and butter using a mixer. Blend in the egg and vanilla extract until combined. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture gradually while mixing. Add the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped almonds and mix well.
Toss the dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets using a 1 1/2 tablespoon scoop. Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the sheets. Preheat the oven to 9 to 12 minutes.
Transfer to cooling racks for cookies after ten minutes.
