Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites

diced (you can use your favorite variety)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Instructions:

    1. In a slow cooker, combine the sliced kielbasa sausage and diced apples.
    2. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and pepper.
    3. Pour the mixture over the kielbasa and apples in the slow cooker. Stir to coat everything evenly.
    4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, or until the kielbasa is heated through and the apples are tender.
    5. Once done, serve the apple kielbasa bites warm directly from the slow cooker. You can use toothpicks for easy serving as appetizers, or serve them over rice or mashed potatoes for a main dish.
