Put vinegar in the toilet tank: you will solve a big problem

The toilet tank is a very important part of your toilet because it contributes to the proper functioning of your flush and therefore the toilet. Often forgotten, the toilet tank can store rust, scale, mold and bacteria.

These little problems can cause bad odors and affect the way the toilet works. With white vinegar, you can deeply clean your toilet tank in a natural way. For this you need:

Rubber gloves
Home cleaner
Sponge
Scrubbing brush
White vinegar

Use rubber gloves to protect your hands from possible dirt. Place a towel on the floor to place the tank cover on it.

Without draining the water from the tank, pour white vinegar into your toilet tank. Then, let the vinegar and water mixture sit overnight in your toilet tank.

In doing so, limescale, rust and mold could dissolve naturally. The next day, you can flush the toilet as many times as necessary to remove all the vinegar from the tank.

Flush the toilet again to completely empty the tank, then close the water tap.

All the dirt accumulated on the walls of the water tank will then be visible and you can remove it permanently with a scrubbing brush.

You can then use a sponge to clean any stubborn marks. If some stains persist, use a homemade cleaner and spray it on the interior walls of the tank.

Let it act on the remaining marks. Then, scrub the last traces with the scrub brush to thoroughly scrub your entire toilet tank.

You can open the water tap and flush the toilet. Clear water should come out of your toilet. Finally, carefully replace the tank cover.
