Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats

Line muffin pan with liners and lightly spray with non-stick spray.
Melt 1 cup crunchy peanut butter, 6 tbsp honey, and 1/8 tsp salt together on low heat until melted and well combined. Remove from heat.
Stir in 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal. Mix well.
Evenly distribute mixture into liners. Press down firmly.
Melt 1 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips over low heat. Stir constantly until melted. Remove from heat.
Spoon melted chocolate over each treat, distributing smoothly and evenly.
Put in the refrigerator until firm.

Every bite you take will leave you wanting more! These treats are loaded with crunchy peanut butter, packed with crispy texture, and topped with creamy chocolate!

TIPS:
Peanut butter – You don’t have to use crunchy peanut butter, creamy works too!
Vegan – If you’d like to make a vegan version, substitute the honey for agave.
Chocolate chips – Regular chocolate chips will work instead of vegan chocolate chips.
Filling the cups – Each cup will but just about to the top with the Rice Krispie mixture after pressing down firmly. You will have just enough room for a thin layer of chocolate. The chocolate will come right to the very top of the muffin liner.
Squares – You don’t have to use a muffin tin. You can easily press the Rice Krispie mixture into the bottom of an 8 x 8 pan. Distribute the melted chocolate over it evenly.
Freshness – It’s recommend that you store these in a sealed container in the refrigerator to keep them firm. I think they taste best that way, too!
Freeze – You can also freeze these. Just store them in a freezer safe container
