PASTA SHELLS WITH GROUND BEEF: A COMFORTING ITALIAN CLASSIC

About 3 Cups.Of pasta shells.

1 pound ground beef (85% lean).

1 small onion, finely chopped.

 

 

2 garlic cloves – minced.

1 14-oz can.Of crushed tomatoes.

1 14-oz can.Of diced tomatoes (optional).

1 Tsp.Of dried basil.

 

 

1 Tsp.Of dried oregano.

Salt and black pepper to taste.

2 Tsp.Of olive oil.

Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving).
