One Skillet Cabbage Roll Casserole With Beef

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Begin by browning the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Just before removing the beef from the pan, add the minced garlic. Drain the beef.
  3. Mix together the tomato sauce, cabbage, onion, salt, pepper, and rice in a large bowl. Stir in the browned beef.
  4. Begin layering your cabbage, beef mixture, and cheese in a 9×9 pan.
  5. Cover the pan and dish with foil. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
  6. After an hour, remove the dish, stir, and cover with foil again before placing it back in the oven.
  7. Let the dish bake for an additional 15-30 minutes. The rice should be cooked, and the cabbage should be soft when the dish is finished baking.
