Melt in Your Mouth Chicken

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
  • Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Chicken:
      • In a shallow dish, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
    2. Cook the Chicken:
      • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
    3. Make the Sauce:
      • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
      • Stir in the heavy cream and butter until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
