Maraschino Cherry Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually blend into the creamed mixture to form a dough.
Fold in maraschino cherries and white chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
