Homemade fresh cheese in 15 minutes

  1. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add the white vinegar and salt, stirring gently for about 2 to 3 minutes until the milk begins to curdle and small lumps form.
  3. Remove from heat and let sit for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place a sieve lined with cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel over a large bowl and carefully pour the curd mixture into the sieve.
  5. Squeeze gently to remove excess liquid, then discard.
  6. Transfer the curd cheese to a bowl and add pepper to taste.
  7. Mix the curd cheese well to obtain a creamy consistency.
  8. If you like, you can add chopped chives for garnish.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious homemade cheese soup!
