Cinnamon Bugles

Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In a small bowl, mix together the milk and vanilla extract. Gradually add this wet mixture to the flour-butter mixture, stirring continuously, until a soft dough forms.

Step 2: Shape the Bugles

Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a rope-like shape on a floured surface. Cut the ropes into bite-sized pieces, approximately 2 inches in length.

Using your fingers, shape each piece into a bugle shape by creating a small cone with an opening at the top. Place the shaped Bugles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
