They are already 13 years old. How fate unfolded and what the world’s first octagonals and their mother look like today

The most well-known example of octagonals who survived after birth will be celebrated thirteen years later on January 26, 2022. On January 26, 2009, six boys and two girls were born in the US by cesarean section. Nadia Suleman, who was already a mother of six, became a mother of fourteen without the financial assistance of her husband. She was thirty-four years old.

Although Suleman attributes the birth of each of her children to in vitro fertilization, she asserts that the doctor who transferred twelve embryos lied to her.
The doctor lost his medical license for unethical practices, and the case of Suleman prompted further regulation of in vitro fertilization in the US.
