A natural recipe for sparkling toilets without scrubbing

The most tedious and, above all, the most unpleasant task is, without a doubt, cleaning the toilet, more precisely the toilet bowl. This part of the house is known to be the unhealthiest, as it presents an environment conducive to the proliferation of bacteria. Added to this are bad odors and difficult stains that require scrubbing. But did you know that there is a very simple trick to clean the toilet bowl, without putting your hand in the water or exposing yourself to chemicals?

Toilets are a real trap for bacteria and therefore require regular disinfection and cleaning. The bowl, in particular, is the dirtiest part of the toilet. To prevent the risk of contamination or infections related to pathogenic bacteria that proliferate in these spaces, scrupulous cleaning is essential!

To do this, we always use the various cleaning and maintenance products sold in supermarkets. However, the dangers posed by these products can be more serious. In fact, conventional cleaning products (air fresheners, cleaners, etc.) alter the air quality in homes and are therefore responsible for indoor pollution.

Indoor pollution, what effect on health?

Cleaning products contain large amounts of toxic, even carcinogenic, chemicals that evaporate into the air and pollute it. Indoor air pollution should not be taken lightly because it can cause many health problems. It has been associated in particular with respiratory problems such as asthma, but also with cancer.

Indoor pollution can also affect children’s health, increase the risk of cardiovascular attacks and affect fetal development.

Worse still, the use of cleaning products in homes has been responsible for 99,000 deaths/year in Europe, according to a study carried out by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).
