INGREDIENTS:
- To make the cream of custard:
- three egg whites
- 1/4 cup (30 grams) all-purpose flour
- 100 grams of sugar, or 1/2 cup
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 8 ounces (235 mL) of milk
- To do this, follow these steps:
- 1 dried puff dough sheet (about 8 oz, 225 gr)
- 50 grams (1/2 cup) sugar
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- to have powdered sugar added to them
HOW TO DO IT
First, make the custard cream (crema pastiera):
Soak the milk in hot water until it’s ready to drink.

It takes a medium-sized pan, egg whites, sugar, vanilla extract, and flour. Mix them together and whisk them until the mixture is light and fluffy.
