3 simple ways to get rid of rats

Bait stations are closed, self-contained devices that contain an approved type of rodenticide in block or paste form. The station doesn’t catch the mouse. Instead, it contains a rodenticide that attracts the rodent towards the station entrance. The mouse enters, eats some of the bait, and exits through the station’s exit hole, then dies (hopefully outdoors, away from home, but not always). The bait is completely contained within the station, therefore protected from accidental contact or ingestion by children or animals.

How to know if there are mice in your house

You see live or dead mice

Droppings, especially around food or around garbage areas

Noises in the dark, like scratching sounds in the attic

Burrows around the yard or under the house or outbuildings

Burrs along walls or rodent hair along paths, in nests or near food

Mouse traps that have been broken but without a trace of a mouse; rats can trigger the traps themselves (without getting trapped in them) or they can eat the mice caught in the traps.
